“Simple and easy to develop and integrate with for small control system needs, in my case a water quality processing system, reading only a couple of analog and digital i/o (buttons, relays, sensors, etc) plus i2c (with the handy header), with the LCD a good way to display progress. Only disappointment was the lack of a simplified C based interface, but I solved that by rolling my own which anyone else can use https://github.com/matthewgream/st7735. Perfect size for building onto a Pi Zero (in my case, a 2W operating in OTG mode as a USB slave to another device) for low footprint and cost, but fast development on standard linux operating system.”
“This is my second one - and again it worked great. I'm using this with a Pi Zero W and a lock from cdvilocks to create my own fully secure door lock for less than £50. More capable than any off-the-shelf big business lock, at half the price, and completely private.”
“I've been using the Automation HAT Mini for the last few years, and it has been an essential component of our manufacturing production floor. We have 7 Raspberry Pi 3B+ units with Pimoroni Automation HAT Minis running 24/7 using Node-RED, and the experience has been flawless. From development to deployment, it was a smooth sailing process with no issues encountered. We're currently in the process of building an additional 5 units because this product has proven to be perfect for simple and cost-effective industrial automation. Highly recommended!”
