“The PiBow cases are by far, in my opinion, the best cases you can get for your Raspberry Pi. Not only because they are very well made, but they are also inexpensive and versatile for those of us who wish to hack the case to fit with any projects we are working on. Having walked the plank and previously taken the plunge with the PiBow Ninja for my original Raspberry Pi Model B, I purchased the PiBow CoupГ© case to go with my new B+, combined with the Unicorn HAT that I bought as well. As the name suggests - CoupГ© - the case is slimmer than the normal PiBow case and for good reason. With the "top down" you can add any of the excellent HAT's available from Pimoroni with ease. Not only does the CoupГ© do this simply, but it also keeps the Pi looking smart and uncluttered. I currently have my CoupГ© housing my newer Raspberry Pi 2 with the Unicorn HAT attached running RetroPie as a retro gaming system. With some hacky code, I have set the Unicorn HAT to display an animated PNG when I launch a game, and this always impresses me (and my mates who have loved the nostalgia of retro gaming). If you want a slim line, yet elegant and adaptable case then look no further than the CoupГ©! You won't regret it!”

“I love this Raspberry Pi case! I bought the flotilla color and it is subtle, but still has plenty swag. It is easy to use the GPIO pins with the CoupГ© with the exposed (and labeled!) pins. You can't go wrong with this case.”

“The case arrives in a cute sweetie-bag with guidance on how to assemble it. The pieces are all numbered making the whole job idiot-proof. It's a lovely design, and feels very robust. My full review is here: https://www.scottbouch.com/pibow_coupe_modification.html I improved on the design a touch by making a notch to fit the power socket better, and made it even slimmer by removing Layer 1 (but this meant trimming down through-hole legs of the PI). “The CoupГ© is in my opinion the best case for hacking with the Raspberry Pi, access to the GPIO pins is great, while still protecting the Pi. The labeling for the GPIO pins is a great help when hacking. If you are looking for a case for general use, I would suggest the CoupГ©'s big brother the PiBow for even more protection.”

“I have owned a few cases in my time using the Raspberry Pi but the Pibow CoupГ© is hands down the best case I have ever seen. You have a sturdy case that protects you pi from general dust and manhandling. While the GPIO pins are exposed it gives you the freedom to just get on with hacking without unscrewing or opening your case. In the same vain you have total access to the CSI and DSI ports! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a save but accessible Raspberry Pi”
