“Nice and sharp display. Good colours and resolution is high enough to use the normal raspbian desktop.
Touch screen is not calibrated very well. On the right side of the display I can see the cursor move on the right side of my finger. Have not found out how to callibrate.
Sometimes some vertical striped noise can be seen.”
“This is a class-leading display providing you're willing to give up all GPIO. What you get in return is exactly as described.
One caveat I haven't seen in any other review, and the reason I'm writing this, and the reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars, is that this display is fragile. While the docs caution against pressing down on the display, I would say that's the least of your concerns. The display consists of numerous layers, and it's far too easy to accidentally pull them apart. You must protect this display in some kind of case or chassis.”
“one of the best displays for the size I am very impresses and when I ran you tube video it seem to improve the you tube videos. You can run HD video is is aweseome.”
“I got the product. It works fine. I have just 1 question : I can't use the display AND have also the same display through the HDMI output. Is it possible to configure the system in order to have the 2 outputs at the same time? I am interested in using my PI to project prowerpoint presentations and control this through the Hyperpixel display.
Thanks in advance for your advice. Regards Didier”
“Really an amazing display! The detail and crispness of the images is superb. Wide viewing angles. However, requires sharp eyes and pointed fingers... Very good value for money!”
“I'm very satisfied with it. The viewing angle could be better, but overall it's perfect.
I've used it to have a digital photo frame at my work: https://github.com/gibatronic/nostalgia”
