“I'd used the BBC micro bit and wanted to try a similar LED display for the Raspberry Pi and this does a great job. It has more LEDs than the micro:bit - 17x7. It needs soldering but I enjoyed doing this as it's been a while since I'd done any soldering. The python library is great - I very quickly made a program to scroll the news and sports headlines from the BBC's RSS feed. Recommend!”
