“I brought this for my first electronics project, hooking it up with a Pi Zero. It requires soldering, and for my first real attempt it was a little tricky with so many pins being quite close to each other - but it worked first time. The screen is easy to program once hooked up to the Pi using the recommended Python libraries.”
“This is an excellent display with very good documentation and examples, very easy to get it up and running.
The claim by Pimoroni that it only needs basic soldering is a bit of an understatement. Putting it together is the hardest part, the "basic soldering" means loads of pins to solder that are placed very close together.
However, once that's done it's an achievement in itself and then you have a display you can be proud of.
I will definitely be buying more.”
