“Good introduction to Micropython.
The version I had delivered was missing some code relating to Pull Down resisitors, though PiMoroni have already contacted me to say they will replace the book as soon as they have the new version.
The book makes reference to various components, such as a 2 line display and PIR sensor. It would be nice if there was a kit that you could buy with all the components needed to work through the examples.
Otherwise a very good guide.”
“The book is very clearly laid out and would suit a beginner to python very well. For those that have experience in Python, a more advanced book, detailing the differences between MicroPython and Python, as well as dealing with how to add libraries, would be needed”
“I had the Raspberry Pi Beginners Guide, so I knew it was a interesting literature.
I just received a mail with an errata and a promise for a new edition
I certainly can recommend the seller”
“One of the best intro book to electronics I have seen so far. At long last, this is a book that starts from the very basics: it teaches you how to solder. And from that, step by step, how to get the taste of physical computing. The book is suitable for children too, with adults doing the soldering before for them or supervising secondary school age children while they are learning the skill. On SW-wise, Python basics are also taught. Not only the very few commands that you need for a demo script.”
