“Good platform but documentation suffers from fragmentation of the market. Many examples work on just specific types of Espruino that it makes it more difficult to learn by example.
Still, it has a potential.
Note: Anybody who is struggling with getting the Espruino Wifi into bootloader mode have a read. I have found a method that works for me.
The instructions for entering the bootloader mode in the chrome IDE seem to be incomplete.
They read
"Please put your board into bootloader mode. Plug it into USB with the button held down. When the reg and green LEDs start pulsating on and off, click 'Next'..."
The key in my case seem to be that the button has to be released while the green LED is on (very shortly after power-on). If I release after the green LED is off, the board won't enter the bootloading mode.”
