“You will find cheaper ST7735 boards, but here you have the added bonus of the microsd-slot and more importantly of the cable (if your mcu supports it).”
“Connecting the display to a Raspberry Pi was simple and getting it to work only required the addition of "dtoverlay=adafruit-st7735r,dc_pin=27,reset_pin=22,led_pin=17,rotate=90" to the config.txt file. I haven't played with it any further than that yet but its looking good.”
