“This booster header is a necessity for pHATs like the Speaker pHAT. Stick a booster header on your Pi Zero's header and it elevates the Speaker pHAT enough that you can still use a case to protect your Pi. (The speaker on the Speaker pHAT sits below the pHAT making things a tight fit with a spacer.) Cheap and easy to use, I find this booster the best way to add a little clearance without soldering on extra long pins which can get bent too easily.”
