“The extension works well and is the officially recommended way to access the GPIO pins when using a POE Hat with your Raspberry Pi.
The connections between the pins and the cable terminals are stable and yield the desired results.

“These are perfect for stacking a fan shield above the heatsinks of the raspberry pi, or spacing out a shield with TH components to prevent a short. Don't be afraid to trim the legs to make it the right height if your shield stack as a female-female through connector.
I've also used the extra length to solder on a GPIO labelling PCBA in-between a stack up as a handy reminder of which pin functions are applicable.”
