Works as intended, was initially worried that camera might be hot being on 24/7 , but it is not. Very happy with my new Pi add-on.

Camera worked for a few month, but now stopped working. Tried new flex cable, various RPi etc. No signal from the sensor.

It works out of the box. I used https://meet.jit.si on a Chromium session using VNC server and worked as a charm, in order to babysit a puppy that was in the kitchen. I used the Raspberry Pi 4 with 2GB of RAM because the 4GB was out of stock. I had to connect it headless because I did not realize that the micro HDMI is not compatible with the zero that I have. Then I bought the Thermal Camera and did the following project. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHQmrH7CZwA

I'm really pleased with this. I bought it to use as a wildlife camera with a pi zero. It worked straight out of the box once connected to the pi. I've had good results already. Not yet got any pictures of the hedgehogs that visit our garden but the night time pictures of the lawn mean that I'm confident of getting some good photos once they do arrive.
