“Fun toy!
The price tag is reflected in the finish and the resilient metal case.
A bit disappointed in the charging port, I would have hoped for something a bit more universal (although, there isn't any standard for waterproof charging ports anyway).
The community around the watch seems small-ish compared to other open source watches. That's fine, though, I was planning to use it for my own programming, and the JavaScript community is... Bigger.”
“An great platform for learning Espruino JS development on. Good on-line support and a growing range of apps to experiment with. Also a very useful & usable product when used with available apps from the Bangle.js apps library.”
“Its heavier than I expected. Works great out of the box, had no problems loading apps on the watch or starting to write code. There is an online editor and tons of documentation and examples”
“This is a very professional piece of hardware for a hackable smartwatch. I was really surprised. I only scratched the surface yet, but there are a lot of possibilities with this, and the software/programming support is very good.
It works best with Chrome/Chromium for the Bluetooth support however. And the developer community seems rather small, so be prepared to write your own apps for it - but that's what we're here for after all, right?”
