“A very convenient and compact way to quickly add IR remote functionality to a project. The IR transmitter in particular is very effective, especially when powered at 5V. I found it could be placed almost anywhere in a room and still control most of the equipment within it. The range is noticeably less at 3.3V, but still good. The status LEDs are useful for debugging as well.”
