“Great little screen and control for Pi Zero 2 W. Took a bit of research to get Python talking to it as the instructions are not up-to-date with information about using Virtual Enviroments.”
“A great little board. It was fairly easy to get it set up and working. There are some quirks with using it to display the terminal screen (my intended use case) such that you need to pin the kernel version - I hope this is a temporary state of affairs and that they support higher (ie current) versions soon.
The initial documentation is reasonably good but there are few pointers on how to go further and because the docs are really just step by step instructions with little explanation of the workings, you do hit a dead end, however the forums contain advice for other similar boards that works but it would be nice if the docs are in better shape.
Thus I wouldn't recommend the product for a complete beginner but if you're a self starter then you'll likely be fine.”
“Good for a first few times. But after some editing now doesn't work which is perfectly understandable for a very sensitive kernal configuration requirement, however there is literally 2 documents online for this device. Half of the screen is like old TV static and I've gone through the setup process several times from scratch. It's used as a gamepad now as the buttons are handy.”
