“With the python toolset it is working perfectly. It's quick enough for a tiny user interface, the buttons are large enough to be usable, with a nice healthy click.
The kernel module setup was not working, I'm afraid the instructions are outdated or not applicable to a pi5.”
“Nice display, only downsides are it is a bit too bright if used in a dark room, screen updates are a bit slow and I haven't managed to find a case that fits it well. I suspect the slow updates are fixable with better driver code, it doesn't seem to drive the SP~I as fast as it is capable of. The brightness might be fixable if the backlight on / off can be connected to a PWM capable output.”
