“The CC pin resistors are configured for an upstream facing port, i.e. it is a device, not a host. It is easy to use in a cable testing scenario for USB 2 signals.
You need soldering skills, it could benefit from push/press (hammer) fit header pins”
“Fantastic little board!
I've gone through pretty much every other competitor for these kinds of breakout connections, and I keep coming back to AdaFruit.
Easy to install, brilliantly finished PCB, consistent and reliable construction.”
“Neat little board although it does only break out a subset of the connections: the normal USB2 GND, VBUS, D+ and D- plus SBU1, SBU2, CC1, CC2.
I.e. none of the SuperSpeed differential pairs. Although it is probably not practical to use them at SuperSpeed via a breakout board it would be nice to be able to repurpose the cable and use all its wires.”
