“I saw a guide online that used this board with integrated NeoPixels as part of an IoT controllable light. As I already own a Particle Photon, this was ideal as it was purposely made for this.
Whilst I could get this product cheaper elsewhere, Pimoroni had stock rather than having to pre-order, so because of that (as well as Pimoroni's fantastic customer service), I bought it for ВЈ25 here.
It arrived the next day, and to my surprised included female GPIO headers as I wasn't entirely sure if they were included.
I've not set up my Photon with this NeoPixel ring, and control a series of animations using the Blynk iOS app, which my seven-week-old son loves looking at!
