I was unsatisfied with the performance of the internal ADCs of most (make it all) microcontrollers, so I tried this little jewel of a board... Very, very nice and easy to work with. And the connectors are just right. Haven't tried out the Programmable Gain Amplifier fully yet, but my expectations are high.

Works very well, all 16 bits of it. It's accurate, works with an ESP32 dev module (once I'd worked out exactly how to use Micropython to drive it), and the Alert feature means I can let it run all day while the ESP32 has a good sleep (because I want to detect out-of-range events). Very happy with it.

Still getting to grips with the complicated software interface, but a very capable chip set.

As with all Adafruit products, well thought out and well documented. The ADS1115 is simple to use with the provided libraries, and service from Pimoroni was excellent.
