"Bought myself a pi zero and at first was a bit sceptical as it isnt as powerful as the 4 core pi3 but I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered what this tiny computer is capable of. I then decided to get a zero w for the WiFi and Bluetooth for when I need to update the SD image I built. Made a nice retro game player with Kodi. Runs all the systems and Kodi very well, even runs quite a few PS1 games that aren't too heavy on polygons, ie Res Evil or Oddworld, it's an amazing little board that will keep me entertained for years to come. Wholeheartedly recommend."

"An amazing little computer. Think of a windows xp computer from fifteen years ago and what it could do, this has similar ability and as a bonus it runs on hardly any power. It's perfect for playing the old arcade games, emulating 8 bit computers like the Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum and also runs Kodi, which will play all of your video and mp3 files from the SD card itself or from a pendrive. This little machine is fantastic value for money, you would have paid over £500 fifteen years ago for the same sort of spec. I recommend you also get a pi zero case for it, clear perspex ones are from £1.25 and get a USB adapter for a quid for your gamepad. Learning how to build your own image can be tricky if you don't already have the games, but it isn't too difficult to find them or easier still, download a ready made image for free. If you are buying a zero to play retro games, all you need is a USB socket on your TV to power it. If not, an old Nokia charger will do just fine. You won't be disappointed, stop scrolling and order yourself one."

"The best mini-computer at around 5 pounds that you can have to toy around with your electronics stuff and even to learn it. If you want some more connectivity, go for the W version."
