“Have the larger flask and just purchased the smaller one. Put in it a home made stew and come late lunch time - actually steaming hot!! Very stylish and cannot recommend this item enough. Get your comfort homemade lunch hit and give it a go.”

“This flask is absolutely brilliant. I’m an emergency services worker so can’t always get access to a kitchen. As long as you follow the instructions you’ll get a hot dinner! I put my food in at 1pm, it was hot still at 9pm, can’t ask for much better!”

“The food flask is brilliant, I used it for the first time this week and filled it up with stew at 6am and was still hot at lunch 12:30, In the summer I will be able to take a salad and no it will still be cold when a come to eat it ( nothing worse than warm lettuce!!). I knew this product would be great as I own 2 of the drinks bottles and they are the best bottles I have ever bought.”

“I have ordered two bottles previously however didn't use the first one turquoise until this year and it leaked all over my bag. Not tried the red yet However I have just ordered.a yellow one not received yet I see there is 15 per cent off do I qualify GIR this. I'm about to order the food one if u order two together do you qualify for 30 per cent off or do you have to do this seperatly”

“I’ve owned a lot of flasks & spent a lot of time outdoors, so I’ve had a lot of flasks. This food flask is as good as food flasks get, but food flasks have a problem. They have to have a wide opening, to get at the food & this is where heat can escape. Using the very unscientific method of filling it with boiling water & feeling the side of the flask, reveals no heat loss through the body of the flask. All good. The flask comes with two lids (& a bowl) when you put the inner lid on, it soon warms up, meaning heat loss, but remember it’s got a very wide opining to cover, so the inner stopper has a really tough job on its hands. The second, outer top will is double walled & can clearly arrest a good section of this heat loss. Don’t treat it like a drinks flask, which has a much easier life, because a) the food inside a drinks flask has a much lower surface area & b) the opining is much narrower than a food flask. My tips to get 4 to 5 hours of piping hot food out of a food flask. 1) pre heat the flask with boiling water, for at least 5 minutes before putting your food in. 2) leave it as late as possible before putting the food in & get it as hot as possible. 3) fill the flask to the maximum, even if your not going to eat it all, what you do eat will be hotter, because it will take the greater volume longer to loose heat. 4) get both lids on as soon as possible. The SHO food flask is very well made, with that almost impossible to define feeling of quality about it. If SHO can think of a way of improving the stoppers insulation it can be only good, but I suspect that the stopper is probably as good as technology can produce, whilst still being affordable. The stopper is not a poor quality item, it’s just fighting the rules of physics, a fluid that has a wide surface area, so losses more heat than the same volume in a “drinks” flask & has to “stopper” a much wider area than a drinks flask. I suspect this SHO flask is probably as good as any food flask, but no food flask is going to perform as well as a drinks flask. I was that impressed with the overall quality I ordered a fortis flask this morning, to stop me buying chilled bottled water every morning.”
