“You know when you read reviews and they are obviously fake? Because no one in reality actually approaches a complete stranger to compliment the cup they're drinking out of. That's ridiculous. Except that literally happens to me every damn time I use this cup. OK, I'm not being chased down the street by hoards of tourists wanting to compliment me on my choice of drinkware, but every time I use it in a coffee shop the barista has always wanted to know where I got it. Once as I was leaving Starbucks a staff member asked me to get it out of my bag to show another employee who had just clocked on. So yeah, it's a really good looking cup. But how is it functionally? Well, I wish I hadn't bothered buying some of my other reusable cups for one thing! This cup has a really thick side to it (double-walled, I think is the term? I'm too lazy to google) which means that even boiling hot you can hold your drink for hours without feeling even slightly warm. No more burnt fingers! I haven't tested exactly how long it will keep drinks hot for, but I once got a free hot drink at a supermarket and it was still hot (not warm, still hot) when I got home nearly an hour later. It's small enough that a small coffee will fill it up, but it's big enough that you don't feel like you're only drinking a thimbleful at a time. I'm saving a fortune on buying smaller drinks and not even noticing it. It also comes with two lids - one with a sliding opening for drinking hot drinks, and one with a hole in the middle for a straw so you can enjoy an iced latte. Straw is also included. It's also very easy to clean, stickers peel right off of it (useful as my local coffee shop uses stickers for orders), doesn't harbour weird smells, and hasn't discoloured at all. I've been chucking it in my backpack with the rest of my worldly belongings and it's been fine - no scratches or marks on it. Weeks later and it still looks brand new out of the box. Basically this one cup does literally everything and I shouldn't have bothered buying anything else.”
