Hey there, Thanks for your lovely review, we really do appreciate it :) I'm so glad you're loving your new Calix! We do recommend letting your drink cool down a little before trying to drink from the cup. The lid may get a little hot if the temperature of the drink inside is extremely hot. We would not recommend that you drink from the Calix at this point as if the lid is too hot then the drink inside is definitely too hot to drink. Best wishes, Ellie

“Thought long and hard before spending out on a Sho, l mean how can it be better than any other bottle currently available. I was wrong, the bottle is very tactile lovely to hold, looks classy and most importantly does what it claims hots stay hot and cold drink remains just that. I was unsure about drinking from bottle (would it have that metal taste) but thankfully no. Mine is currently being used to hold hot lemon n honey at bedtime so when the niggling cough starts during the night a soothing drink is at hand. So yes l would recommend paying out that little extra for a very versatile bottle.”
