“I'm invited to review the Sheds.co.uk website for a chance to win £100! It would seem sheds.co.uk want to avoid reviews of their real products? This stikes me as dishonest? I recently bought and installed both a garden chest, and a pent roof shed 6ftx2ft6" shed. The quality of both products was ok, not great, but consitent with the attractive price and delivery time. For this I would have given 3 stars. But having followed the instructions to build both I found significant errors in the instructions. First the storage chest. The instructions illustrate putting the sides together with screws from the outside. The 50mm screws are not long enough to do this - the chest would soon fall apart!. Screw it together from the inside. Having put the 4 sides on, you then fix to the floor. BEFORE you do this make sure the chest is square (measure diagonals), otherwise the lid wont fit. The instructions miss this vital step. And, finally, you are asked to remove the protection frm the glazing!!! Really - a storage chest with windows! Did anyone check this piece of work? AND NOW THE SHED. You will need to improvise when it comes to nailing the roof felt on . The instructions show the felt foldled over and nailed at the side, but there is nothing to nail to except the feathered timber. You'll need to make your own decision as to the right way to get around this. Then there's the doors. They didn't fit! I had to saw a 1cm strip off both doors so that they would close. You will need a workbench and a good rip saw to do this. So, take care with the assembly.”
