TCT Multi-Purpose Circular Saw Blade 250mm x 100T Reviews

4.9 Rating 16 Reviews
Read Saxton Blades Reviews

- 250mm Diameter - 100 teeth - 30mm bore (16mm, 20mm & 25mm reduction rings included) - 2.9mm Kerf (thickness of cut)
- Ideal for along the grain and cross-cutting on softwood, hardwood, plywood, chipboard, multi-board panels, non-ferrous metals, MDF, plated & counter-plated panels, laminated & Bi-laminate plastic, Corian, and fibre-reinforced plastic.
- Fully hardened steel blade body. Delivers accuracy and resists bending and deflection for true cuts. Tungsten carbide teeth provide excellent wear and heat resistance.
- The saw blades are fitted with specialist Triple Chip Grind (TCG) teeth. Unlike traditional teeth, TCG teeth alternate between a combination of flat and trapezoidal teeth to provide the most effective cut. The trapeze tooth cuts out the middle of the kerf, which is then followed by a standard flat top grind (FTG) tooth, which cleans out the corners, extending the life of the blade.
- Compatible with Dewalt, Bosch, Makita, Ryobi, and any other circular saws which use a 250mm blade with a 30mm, 25mm, 20mm, or 16mm bore (reduction rings included). Suitable for table saws, mitre/chop saws, and handheld circular saws.

I'm a DIY'er and I bought this to replace the naff blade on my cheap and cheerful, table saw. Well, what a difference. Cuts are cleaner, smoother, and the blade goes through the wood like a hot knife through butter. To say I'm pleased would be an understatement. Price was reasonable too. Yes, I'll be using Saxton again, as I've a few other machines that need an upgrade.

The delivery service was good. The blade I was looking for was an FTG blade to cut box joints. This blade was supposed to achieve this but it didn't quite make it. The trapezoid teeth were ground a little too high leaving a not so square bottom to the cut. A little disappointing.
