Top Blade FAQs
What does flat top grind mean?
Flat top grind refers to the design of the teeth on the blade, where the top edges are square to the saw plate. This allows for very fast cuts that remove excess material down the grain of the wood. The construction is also very durable, meaning your blade will last longer.
Is the blade very durable?
Yes, the blade is made with fully hardened steel and TCT teeth, which helps to improve the accuracy and resist the bending or overheating of the blade, making it suitable for long-term use on harder projects.
Is there a warranty on this blade?
Saxton Blades offer a statutory guarantee that blades will be as described and fit for purpose. Please contact us with any issues.
What is the significance of a 30mm bore?
The bore is the central hole size of the blade. Most saws use 30mm as a standard, but there are reduction rings included to make your blade more accessible across multiple types of saws.
