TCT Circular Blade 190mm x 80T Reviews

4.9 Rating 49 Reviews
Read Saxton Blades Reviews

– 190mm Diameter – 80 teeth – 30mm bore (reduction rings for 25mm, 20mm, and 16mm included) – 2.4mm Kerf (thickness of cut)
– Ideal for along-the-grain and cross-cutting on softwood, hardwood, plywood, chipboard, multi-board panels, MDF, plated & counter-plated panels, laminated & bi-laminate plastic, and fibre-reinforced plastic.
– Fully hardened steel blade body – Delivers accuracy and resists bending and deflection for true cuts. Tungsten carbide teeth provide excellent wear and heat resistance. The positive cutting angle ensures fast and efficient chip and swarf removal.
– Incorporates an ATB (Alternating Top Bevel) offset tooth design. The angled tooth scores the surface of the material ahead of the cut, cleanly severing the fibres before the chip is removed. This results in a smoother cut with significantly reduced splintering.
– Compatible with DeWalt, Bosch, Makita, Ryobi, and other circular saws using a 190mm blade with a 30mm, 25mm, 20mm, or 16mm bore (reduction rings included). Suitable for mitre saws, table saws, and handheld circular saws.

I'm professional carpenter and done lots of work with SGL panels. I was very surprised how good this blade is. Very recommend to everyone who need to cut thick plastic.

It came in very good time for me to take it to my son who lives in a different country, he has not had the chance to try it out to date. However the shipping packaging was very adequate and came with several adapters for different sized shanks. The package seems to be good value for money. The only slight disappointment was the fact that Saxon failed to answer an enquiry regarding another size of blade I was attempting to source, I can only imagine this was due to IT failure of the site or my lack of IT knowledge.

Only made a few cuts with it so can't really give any review of longevity of life. Cuts foil wrapped IKEA panels and melamine very cleanly - no chips at all which is great.

I've been using this blade all weekend cutting thick acrylic sheets, just took my time allowing it all to cool down every five minutes, or so. Perfect for the work, I'll be buying from Saxton Blades again. Baz from Balfron, Glasgow.
