4.5 Rating 22 Reviews
Read Saxton Blades Reviews

– 185mm Diameter – 80 Teeth – 30mm Bore (16, 20 and 25mm reduction rings included) – 1.7mm Kerf (thickness of cut)
– Ideal for fine, intricate cutting with a quality finished edge along and across the grain. Suitable for use on softwood, hardwood, plywood, chipboard, multi-board panels, MDF, laminated plastics, and fibre-reinforced plastics.
– Fully hardened steel blade body delivers increased accuracy and resists bending and deflection for true cuts. Tungsten Carbide Teeth offer excellent wear and heat resistance, ensuring durability and extended blade life.
– Fine 80 Tooth Count is designed for precise and intricate cuts, leaving a clean finish with minimal splintering. Incorporates an ATB (Alternating Top Bevel) offset tooth design, which scores the material surface in advance of the cut for cleaner edges and reduced tear-out. Anti-vibration slots ensure smooth running, reduced noise, and easier handling during operation.
– Compatible with Dewalt, Bosch, Makita, Ryobi and most other circular saws that accept a 185mm blade with a 30, 25, 20 or 16mm bore (reduction rings included). Also suitable for mitre/chop saws and table saws. When using a reduction ring please ensure your fixing collet is larger than the blades bore (30mm)

The blade is good quality at an affordable price. Nice clean cut on base of veneer door. Only problem I had was the bore diameter. The blade has a 30mm bore but comes with reducers. I use a Skilsaw Classic, which has a bore of 16mm. The problem is the saw clamp, it has a chamfered inner edge, which means it only grips the reducer. Had to make up 2 packers out of 40mm diameter stainless penny washers.

Only giving 1 star as I can't give zero ... Blade sold with adapter washers, allegedly to enable use on saws with smaller diameter shafts down to 16mm. My deWalt has a 16mm shaft and the adapter was useless - blade stalls as soon as cut begins and shaft and washer spin pointlessly. Poor product, not fit for purpose. Contacted Saxon and was promised an email with returns details and postage ... nothing ever arrived ... Rubbish product and non-existent customer service - will NEVER buy this brand again

I'm impressed with the quality of the cut compared to my previous blades from Freud. The Saxton blade was 25% less expensive than my last Freud blade and cuts melamine and kitchen worktops cleanly and with little effort. Dispatch was fast. I'll be buying again.

Cuts 18mm ply without leaving any shards along the cutting edges in either long or cross grain cuts.
