I have a box of many different blades but I don't know what they do. I do know they are all Saxton blades though. The function 'Hardwood', 'Heavy metal', etc. wears off during the first use but the brand name remains intact. I would like Saxton to swap the positions of the two markings. Saxton blades are hard-wearing, the delivery is quick and prices competitive. I would only go anywhere else if the function was printed on the part that clips on to the machine.

I must admit I bought these blades as a last ditch effort to remove some 6mm rusted bolts that were totally rusted in place and there was not enough space to use a grinder. Having tried other brand name metal cutting blades which all failed within seconds I gave the Saxtons' a go. I have to say I followed the instructions to the letter with only light pressure and lots of lube and they worked really well. Go slow and steady don't force the cutting. I would happily buy more but I ordered 3 and managed to cut all 5 bolts using a singe blade, which is now only just starting to wear. The blade still feels like it has an edge but has lost 2 teeth. Well done Saxton.....I will happily buy more when needed.

Tried to use this carbide tipped blade to saw head of a car bolt. Blunt inside of a minute and started to disintegrate!!! Total waste of money.

I purchased these blades to cut off a redundant 32mm steel gas pipe at floor level. It took about an hour to do the job but the blades performed well. There does not appear to be many hard steel blades about but these did the job the cutting oil used helped.
