“It is a worktop. Pretty nice. Price was best on the Internet. Saved me £400 compared to wickes, £200 cheaper than the cheapest competitor online. Delivery was rapid, a couple of days. Communication was excellent and delivery driver was helpful and friendly. Will definitely use Savoy again.”

“The people here have a horrible attitude. Their price match guarantee is a lie. I asked if they could price match to a company called builder depot as they had the same worktop on slightly cheaper and they advised not they could not price match that as builder depo could not deliver to my home address. I explained to the adviser I can have the item delivered to a different address from builder depo or arrange my own courier service as I could do to the same with Savoy. However the price match was refused because I was told my home address is not deliverable with builder depo (it is deliverable with savoy) I asked if they could show me where it states this in their T&Cs but they couldn’t and just advised they have denied the price match and at their own discretion. I also asked another adviser if I would get the delivery fee back when returning the item which was just a simple question because worktop express do refund the delivery fee and the advisor on the phone said with attitude well you did receive the produce didn’t you??! I think sometimes customer service can really be brought down when there is a lack of respect and simple politeness, the company may be cheap but honestly the customer service really isn’t there.”

Hi there, thank you for your review, I am so sorry that there has been some confusion - I can see that you ordered your product with us and recieved delivery. My understanding is that you then requested to change this product for another one which is of course no problem, but I believe the issue is that you requested a reduction in the price of the product to match a competitor's product price, which again would not be problem, but the issue is that the competitor does not deliver to your location, therefore, the product is not available to you to purchase and receive delivery, we unlike our competitors deliver nationwide and do subsidise delivery to enable us to cover the whole of the UK. So I understand why customer service applied this criteria, there is a return charge applied as the goods were delivered in good faith and in time and without issue. If you would like to contact us i can see if we can assist in some way out of good faith to enable you to get the product you require - there is a possibility we could deliver on our own vehicles which could enable a reduction in charge.
