“Paid £60 for delivery to Scotland of £1000+ order for worktops and splashbacks. Arrived on open back truck 24hr after leaving depo on a rainy/sleety day. Ordered on 29 December 2025 - items arrived damaged on 15th January 2026 (should be in 7-10 days) - even allowing for weekends and public holiday it was late. Splashbacks should've been wrapped in cellophane, worktops weren't. They arrived wet, cellophane was ripped and trim was dragging on the ground when driver was unloading. Some splashbacks were warped and a worktop was chipped. I asked the driver for the delivery note so that i could mark as damaged on the note - but he said he didn't have one. When we spoke to Savoy, and offered to send pictures, they said we would have to return items for replacement and wait for the next delivery date to Scotland again. The job was already running over, due to their late delivery, and with the prospect of no sink or hob for another few weeks, we declined the wait for replacements. Our joiner battled on and tried his best with the chipped worktop that had arrived. However we had no option (due to what couldn’t be used) than to order another Splashback from a closer supplier in order to complete the job. Cannot recommend Savoy Timber and would not order from them again. If I could choose no stars to send this I would.”
