“I'd love to write a review about my worktop but I am yet to receive it well over a week later. The worktop was apparently dispatched last Wednesday and I anticipated contact from the couriers to advise a delivery date, however, by Monday this hadn't happened so I contacted Savoy Timber. Their response was disappointingly dismissive and, despite the inconvenience caused to me their response was "Thanks for getting in touch after investigating this I have found that the courier has lost 1 of your parcels, we had 4 and only 3 appear to have been received into the delivery depot. I have just added a replacement order and we will re-send this tomorrow for you, sincere apologies about the delay, unfortunately this does happen on the odd occasion. You should receive a text and email from Arrow following the collection tomorrow so you can book a delivery date". I responded to this to express my disappointment at this, given that I had paid £42.95 for delivery and asked if part of this would be refunded. Again, a dismissive response was received, thus "We appreciate your issues unfortunately we are not able to offer any gesture we are obliged to offer a full replacement or refund when a situation like this arises as we have a duty to fulfil our obligation to you". Nevertheless, it is now Wednesday, the day AFTER I should have heard from Arrow according to the email I received but I am yet to hear, and I still have no idea when I may actually receive my worktop. I am planning on purchasing some composite decking early next year but at least I now know where not to buy it from! Certainly won't be using Savoy Timber again, nor would I recommend them to anybody. Hopefully, when I actually get to see my worktop it may help to relieve my current frustrations...”
