“Our first delivery of 2 x worktops was received on a Fri, unfortunately they had not been cut correctly in depth. I contacted Savoy Timber on the Saturday & they were extremely helpful. The wrong worktops were uplifted on the Mon & the correctly cut worktops were delivered Tue. The oversight on my initial delivery was disappointing, especially as we are nearly 200 miles away, but Savoy Timber dealt with it in a very professional manner & provided excellent customer service. Would definitely use again.”

“Two of the three worktops I had paid extra to have cut to my dimensions were cut 5mm longer meaning they wouldn't fit. The measurements that I had provided when ordering had allowed for joint/end strips however I then had to cut them by hand to get them to fit because whoever cut them before shipping had cut them too big. I emailed customer service the same evening and explained what was wrong, provided photos and advised that I had to fit them that evening and couldn't leave them until another day to wait for replacements as the plumber had removed sink, hob and oven that day and was coming back the next morning to install new sink/appliances in the new worktops otherwise I'd be without a cooker/sink for the weekend at the minimum. I then had to cut the damaged worktop 25mm shorter to remove the damaged corner and had to cut the others down to fit. I called customer service today as heard nothing back from my email to be told there's nothing they can do because I had cut the worktops. This has put me right off buying from this company in the future, speedy service let down by poor customer service and someone who can't cut worktops to customer measurements. I try to praise companies when the service is good however this time I cannot and for future projects I'll buy elsewhere.”
