“Not a bad kit, but the word kit implies that some form of guide would be included and it isn’t - in this case it’s a pile of parts, conveniently packaged and prices and nothing more. Fortunately I’ve done these before, but if your a relative novice at DIY then you’ll need to do your own research on how to assemble the “kit” otherwise you’ll struggle.”

“Pros: Good quality wood and swift delivery. Cons: Not supplied with any instructions (had to follow video from Wickes whichg left some of the included fixings redundant). 2.4m is really too long for a starter kit - this length really needs an extra newel post for stability to stop it bowing in the centre, so be aware you'll need to add that or create a support for the centre.”
