“On receiving my delivery of decking from Savoy timber. The driver told me that they had no starter clips. I asked how can I start my decking without starter clips. He rang the manager Martin in the wigan depot, who said I could have the clips 2 days later. I told him that was not acceptable and I had took time off work to do this decking. My wife rang the customer service department to complain and they said we would have the clips within 1hr 30 mins. A driver turned up with a bag of starter clips and said there was only 20. I said I paid for a bag of 30, the driver said put bigger spacing between the clips & it will be fine & take it up with the office for the shortfall, what a terrible attitude & behaviour. I had to go to a local builders merchant to buy more starter clips to complete my deck”
