Named after ultra runner champion Karl Meltzer’s nickname, Hoka One One’s women's super cushioned trail running shoe now comes in a wide D fit. It performs brilliantly off-road. The upper is reinforced with a 3D print for lightweight durability and has a more accommodating fit thanks to the extra width. The Vibram Megagrip outsole features the new 'stepped’ lugs, shaped in a special way to repel mud. Also available in standard width.

Exceptionally good shoes, so good in fact that I have new muscle aches based on the fact that these have corrected my posture and foot placement so much whilst I’m running. The only small change is a suggestion that they could be slightly wider (I already have the wide fit) as I have a very high arch and need lots of room for my foot to expand as it hits the floor. They have solved my ongoing trouble with shin splints though which I suffered with regularly whilst using my other running shoes. I’m a convert and I don’t think I’ll buy another brand of trainer again!

Simply the best trainers I’ve ever had. I have bunions and every other trainer has eventually nipped. So comfortable and worth every penny!

Comfortable trail shoe on mixed train. Bought a ladies wide fitting but could have done with them wider still. Had Hoka made a men’s size 6 in the same shoe, I would have opted for that instead.

These certainly have width and are comfortable. It's early days but I don't think I'm a fan of these heavily cushioned shoes - they slow me down a bit. But it's a Marmite thing, I'm sure a lot of people will love them as they are very soft.

I’ve been looking for a shoe that I can attempt a 100 miler in and I think these are it! Great to have the option of a wide fit as my feet seem to swell on longer runs. The grip is good - probably not the best for really wet muddy conditions - but a great all rounder for soft terrain and rocky surfaces alike.
