This is not a good running bra. I have raced up to marathon and ultra distance in the old Brooks running bra with velcro holding up the straps. The old velcro bra works, there is no bounce, no slackening of the straps, yes it is a squeeze to get into but it does its job so I can run and forget about it. This bra is not suitable for running, the sliders on the straps do not lock off, so on a short 10km run I had to stop several times to tighten the sliders, which then undid themselves again. After this I had breast pain for days from the bounce. I do not think this bra has been designed for movement as the sliders just slacken themselves with motion. It's frustrating that running companies are lazy in the area of bra design and that there are so few good products on the market. I will not be able to run in this bra so I will try it instead on my S&C days in the gym, maybe the sliding loose of the straps won't be a problem with no impact. It's also worth pointing out that for £60 this is expensive and almost equivalent in price to a new pair of trainers. I have been running for over half my life since I was 14 so I know that running doesn't have to hurt my breasts and that there are some bras that work. I think this is an irresponsible product because it could put aspiring female runners off the sport as you cannot run in this bra, women who don't realise it's the bra not them might decide running is just painful and not pursue the sport. Design and product testing for female athletes needs to be better.
