“First off, I just cut my sisterlocks off after many years so I'm a complete wig novice, and this headband wig seemed like an easy transition hairstyle, and great for days when I want no-fuss styling, so I'm happy that it has proved easy to wear.
The texture of this headbandwig is brilliant -- it mimics my own natural texture in look and feel and shrinkage, so that is really delightful.
However... there really is too much hair in this 16inch headband wig. It has almost the same amount of hair as my 18inch full lace Four Ayye wig, and it's kind of like a lion's mane, as it's so voluminous. Trying to figure out whch products to use to tame it and looks more natural...
Also, I found it really unhelpful that Ruka did not actually put a picture of the Four Ayye Headband wig on the web page, even though the other headband wigs are pictured with a model. It would have been really helpful to know what it looked like on their model, not sure why they used an image of the full lace Four Ayye to sell the headband version?”
