Butttt hear me out: it’s completely worth it. I read everything about this product before purchasing so just remember that the tackiness is a small trade off for healthier baby hairs. It will take some getting used to, but don’t abandon it after the first use. I found that using very little water on my finger tip before dipping into the gel helped alleviate some of the tacky feel during application. My edges are 4a/4b and this gel was with a doubt holding me down. Just be sure you wash it out between uses like it says.”
“First of all this smells divine! Its the same smell as the hair perfume, so no clashes there. it feels moisturising, yet strong enough to secure my edges for a good few hours and my hair doesn't feel dry at the end of the day after wearing it. It's also really easy to wash off and the consistensy is runny enough to work with but not too runny it spills and drips.”
