1. The hair shine and texture at the root does not match the texture throughout, too silky to match with my hair texture which is shiny but not in the same way as silky straight hair.
2. Clip in quality could be better, irritated my scalp and when I slept with them they pulled out my hair (I’m well experienced in clip ins) and the thread holding them is coming off after 3 months but I could have just been sensitive to these ones.
3. The texture match for me was not correct, the curls are too loose whereas mine are tighter.
Pros
Other than that, the clips ins are lovely, got a lot of compliments on them. I also had to cut the clips as they were too long but they have helped me to fall in love with my natural hair again and they look better when I do a ponytail due to the texture match.
But it does behave like curly hair and you need to maintain it as such so that the hair does not matte up or tangle like our natural hair would. I’ve not added much heat to my clip ins other than from a diffuser and they have held up really well!
Sadly I could not wear them when my hair was damp/down as the curl pattern didn’t match but will get the fluff and fro or the think kink potentially and hopefully that will be a better match so I don’t have to manipulate my hair a lot as I have high porosity hair and the colour doesn’t match my natural hair colour, I wish they did a colour service for a shade lighter than 1b that might have helped more.”
