“The gates are made well but I did ask how much of the top was balustrade before purchasing. I was told it would be less than a foot on 6ft high ones. In
fact its nearly 2 foot, therefore now need to purchase some trellis or similar to stop people looking as privacy was the reason for the gates. Going to be more expense buying and getting it fitted.”
“Gates are robust and well made, they look really good. My only criticism is that when looking at the gates online and also when I telephoned about them they were described in imperial measurements, but apparently in their workshop they use metric. When the gates arrived they were about two inches short for the gap we had. Checking again we found that they do indeed state that they are made in metric but 180cm is not 6feet, 183cm is, that's more than two inches over two gates. Ruby Group came up trumps and gave us a discount which paid for the extra wood and time needed by our handyman to fix the problem.”
