“unfortunately the silicone had cured in the top of the tube so was very difficult to use as i had to keep forcing the the cured area down the tube with a screwdriver, the silicone was very thick more like a mastic. i looked for an expiry date on the tube but could not see one it did have a date of manufacture which was May 2024 ? All in all i am not happy with the job i made of sealing the Nuance panels i have fitted.”

Good Morning Glenn, Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about the issue you experienced with the silicone. This is a specialist item for this product and as such it doesn't behave like your standard silicone. We find it's best to use a tool to smooth over or a rubber gloved finger dipped in white spirit to make it more malleable. We hadn’t been made aware of any quality issues with this batch, so it’s disappointing to hear you struggled with it. “Have used it on the nuance shower wall board in my ensuite shower you use it to seal all the board corners and round the shower tray,but as a sealant it doesn't last,it starts lifting so has to be removed and redone,it's expensive but last no longer than silicone sealant,why does it cost so much.”

“My plumber used it, as the previous use, after 2 years, wore,and the water was getting underneath. I like the colour match, but is a little expensive.”
