“Cabinet was easy to install and the mounting bar can with an in built spirit level. Light is easily adjustable from bright white to warm white. There are two negatives, however. One, every time you turn on the light, you get an annoying Bluetooth startup sound that can't be turned off. Wakes my partner up in the night. Two - the door has three hinges and the middle one is right where you want to position the shelf!”

Thank you for your detailed feedback on the Scudo Mia LED Bathroom Cabinet! We're glad to hear you found it easy to install and appreciated the adjustable lighting and built-in spirit level. Regarding your concerns, it sounds like the cabinet may be wired into a switched live circuit along with your main light. If so, this would cause the cabinet to reboot every time the light is turned on, resulting in the Bluetooth startup sound. To prevent this, we recommend wiring the cabinet into a permanent live supply instead of a switched live. This way, the cabinet won’t need to reboot when you turn on the light, and the Bluetooth sound would not occur. However, please note that wiring to a permanent live supply means the cabinet light would need to be turned off manually when leaving the room, as it would no longer be linked to the main light circuit. The benefit of this setup is that you can use the cabinet lighting independently from the main room lights. We understand the frustration with the hinge placement affecting shelf positioning and will share your comments with the manufacturer for consideration. “Well built cabinet with mirrors and lighting inside and out. Glass shelves are not very deep but can be adjusted vertically. There is no notch in cabinet to feed power cable through so had to cut a groove in tiles. Not a problem if power source is immediately behind cabinet. Cabinets are heavy (especially 2 door variant) so it is a two man job. Hopefully cabinet will last for years.”
