The connectors are on a straight thread and looked suspect to my plumber an me. When used they fail to fully tighten. The instructions say use plenty of pv tape. Even doing so they still don't tighten. It took 4 goes each time leaking under pressure Finally we used a different tapered screw in pipe fixing. However I'm still unsure if it's fully sealed. I like the rad, hate the connections as cost half a day and several water spills. Sorry I feel that's a design issue and so does my plumber. I would not say don't buy, but be very careful
