The drain must be able to sit between the joists or in a channel on a screeded floor. The waterproof boards are 10mm high. Constructed from a high quality structural hard foam, the Level Access Wet Room Shower Floor is humidity resistant and has a special mortar coating with a glassfibre reinforcement. It is light, strong and an ideal substrate to tile on to. NB: We recommend the use of 10mm Elements board on the rest of the floor prior to tiling. This is for waterproofing stability of tiles and insulation.
