“I bought this set of castors for a new ergonomic office chair I had recently purchased to work from home. Resting on hard Karndean glue-down flooring, I found the castors were scraping rather than swivelling. Checking the wheels they are a moulded plastic offering 5mm tread but only 3mm contact or 6mm per castor. The Ross castors are 7mm tread with full-width contact giving 14mm per castor. The difference was truly remarkable giving a smooth, fully responsive swivelling action that will protect the floor. A very worthwhile purchase.”
