“The rubber seals do not sit well on the roof allowing a poor seal between it on the gutters.
The bars themselves are too wide to take the top box U brackets easily, with the end result not working well at all . My top box has worked very well on all previous roof bars but not these”
“Fit my hilux well though ideally they would not sit in window space and be further back on cab. The instructions were a challenge to follow hence i needed help which the roof box company did provide a fortnight later.”
“Fitting Instructions needed a little concentration when putting them together and fitting, but really impressed with how quiet they are, even on the motorway.
Buyers need to heed the advice that these are wider than standard bars, and the normally provided 80mm u bolts supplied with roof boxes will not fit them.”
“Superb quality roofbars - takes a bit of fixing as the instructions are all pictograms but it is fairly obvious how it goes together. All parts are of excellent quality and when assembled these are surewly the Rols Royce of roofbars. Claims about themn being very quiet are absolutely true, which surprised me. I actally removed them and re-fitted as I couldn't hear any effect of these on bnoise levels in our Volvo. Thet are strong and are now permanently fixed to the car as there doesn't seems to be any fuel consumption disadvantage of doing this. Really impressed by these bars and certainly worth the small premium on price.”
“Took a lot of time researching before buying these and after two long car journeys with them I am not disappointed. There design means it is really quiet even with a heavy roofbox added on top and I can easily get them on and off (though the first time assembling the feet took me longer than I expected). Definitely worth it though and would recommend it to others, so I thought I'd write a quick review.”
