“We bought and used the Thule EasyFold 3 to carry two quite bulky ebikes for a trip to France. The carrier feels secure and performed well. The folding feature was especially useful for temporary storage at multiple destinations and stopovers. There's good separation between bikes with this model.
Whilst loading and unloading is fairly easy once correctly set up, the initial setting up took quite a while, trying many different positions and combinations of the two arms to get the best and most secure fit. I think this would be easy for bikes with cross bars, but not so with step through ebikes.
The lighting is quite OK, but I expected and would prefer LEDs rather than traditional bulbs of various sizes.”
“Very expensive but really well made. Works a treat with our two E-Bikes.
Only problem is that someone has run into the back of my car. Fortunately the bike rack wasnt fitted but the towbar was damaged and the car is currently being fixed”
“Bought the carrier rather than “dismantling” 2 bikes to fit in rear of car. It seems well designed and strong enough. Not the cheapest but we bought it do that the carrier would go in the boot for safety when unused.”
