Really glad to have bought this. The box is really big and took our 3 suitcases together with other bits leaving more space inside our car. Handy design upgrades compared to older boxes are very welcome such as hinges that just open and keep the lid up without fighting them and the lid falling on your head and the fact it opens both sides is great. Locking mechanism is easy. Installing was really easy too with the newer style chunky fixings and internal sliding bits to make lining things up on the roof very easy. Overall, really happy.

Very good product. Love it. Lot of space. You can open it on both sides.

Good quality. Solid and being a matt finish means it won’t show up minor marks as easy as the gloss finished ones. Opening on both sides adds to the practicality. Not the lightest and the size means it just takes a bit of time / thought to getting it in place but I was aware of this before buying it.

This is the second Kamei box I have bought from The Roof Box Company, we out grew the old one! This box is simply cavernous and a better fit for my car. Quality is all you need, it is a bit noisy but it is a big unit! The shape of the box allows you to fill it pretty much edge to edge I would recommend this to campers etc that need volume shortage for relatively light gear.

The KAMEI Husky 510 roof box is exceptionally spacious and exactly what I needed. Its build quality is on par with other leading brands, making it a strong and probably cheaper alternative. It’s also very easy to install, and I’ve done it solo multiple times. I'd definitely recommend the Kamei roof box.
