“Roof bar itself was fine, but the instructions were about as much use as a chocolate fire guard. Once I had worked it out it was fine and subsequent fittings of the roofbar were fairly straight forward. Just a bit tricky to remove them as they fitted very tightly onto the roof.”
“Value for money. Very unsure whether to go for the Thule bars or these, as we only plan to use them occasionally and the Thule ones were over double the price we chose the Roof Box ones.
They are slightly fiddly to take on and off (so did it the day before we needed them) but not sure how much better other brands would be anyway.
Cycle carriers slid on perfectly and the bars did their job and looked good. Very pleased, would definitely recommend them.”
“Bars themselves are fine and seem securely fitted. However, getting them on and off the car is extremely difficult and takes a long time. You need to loosen the end bits off and then hope that they don't slip back down before you get them into the right position on the car. Instructions aren't clear about how you should install them either - I have worked out a way that works for me but don't have the plastic covers over the end bits that secure it to the car.”
