“The bars themselves are solid and of good quality. The problem I encountered was with the thin plastic pieces that are supposed to stick to the inside of the metal pieces. The adhesive came off with the paper you peel off and it didn't stay on the plastic. I tried for ages to retrieve it but just couldn't. I resorted to having to use my own double sided tape which worked well in two places but resulted in the other rubber pads slipping (see photo.) Quality of the bars is great but the problem I had means I would try another make next time.”
“Now these bars are solid, well made and easy to fit. However I find them very loud on my kia picanto, I'm sure that roof bars are quite noisy and these are my first ones. I will be taking them off when not in use, it's not too much of a hassle.”
